She is trained in the nuances of filmmaking in the Indian film industry. She has been involved with the Foundation from its inception and has worked to promote the objectives of the Foundation in many ways.

Expert on corporate governance and promoting corporate interest through social media, and has the unique distinction of promoting and strengthening branding in the corporate sector. She is also involved in many social and development organizations, has been a founder member of the organization and has contributed to many initiatives of the Foundation since its inception.

Journalist and a dedicated Social Worker, has been involved in developing a regional FM radio station at Kaski and one of the pioneers in promoting private FM radio stations in many parts of Nepal. As a social worker and a media person she has reached out to many women groups, SHGs and cooperative societies where a large number of women have been provided with financial support and entrepreneurial skills. She is a registered specialist periodontist and has earned a name in her profession in Nepal. She is an Executive member of the Nepalese Society of Periodontology and Oral Implantology and has been participating actively in international conferences in the field of Dental Implants. 

Honorary Secretary General of the South Asia Foundation-Nepal, has been involved in development activities in many parts of the region, an entrepreneur and has developed many enterprises in various parts of India. Founder Secretary General, South Asia Foundation is the only non-governmental organization who had played a crucial role in bringing the Maoist onto the negotiating table during the peace process in Nepal, facilitated many meetings among the Nepali Political Parties’ Alliance, Civil Societies and Indian Political Parties and Civil Societies that put forward the peace process during the conflict era. A visiting faculty at the Malavia center for peace research, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (a UNESCO Peace Research Center).
