Former Minister for Finance, Government of Nepal. Former Nepal’s Ambassador to India and has been involved in many social development activities through various social organizations.
Executive Member: Sarita Prasai
Former Minister of the Government of Nepal, has also been actively involved in social work as a Member of the House of Representatives, Nepal. Founder Member of the Foundation.
Executive Member: Sunil Sakya
Well-known in the hospitality industry, who has made significant contributions to uplift the hospitality and tourism development of Nepal. Associated with many social organizations and is involved with the Foundation from its inception.
Treasurer: Saurabh Jyoti
Entrepreneur and one of the backbone of Jyoti Group of Companies. An ardent traveler and motorbike enthusiast and has extensively traveled all over Nepal for promoting exploration of Nepal's unfound areas. Has taken on leadership roles in many organizations and involved in various development initiatives in Nepal.
Secretary: Samjhana Upreti Rauniyar
She's a filmmaker and talk show presenter, has made feature films and television shows and has been working in digital platforms in Nepal. She is trained in the nuances of filmmaking in the Indian film industry. She has been involved with the Foundation from its inception and has worked to promote the objectives of the Foundation in many ways.
Executive Member: Srijana Jyoti
Chief branding officer of the Jyoti Group. Expert on corporate governance and promoting corporate interest through social media, and has the unique distinction of promoting and strengthening branding in the corporate sector. She is also involved in many social and development organizations, has been a founder member of the organization and has contributed to many initiatives of the Foundation since its inception.
Executive Member: Durga Adhikari
Journalist and a dedicated Social Worker, has been involved in developing a regional FM radio station at Kaski and one of the pioneers in promoting private FM radio stations in many parts of Nepal. As a social worker and a media person she has reached out to many women groups, SHGs and cooperative societies where a large number of women have been provided with financial support and entrepreneurial skills. An author and contributes columns in newspapers and radio talk shows regularly. Decorated by the Hon’ble President of Nepal Medal.
Executive Member: Dr. Rita Singh
She is a registered specialist periodontist and has earned a name in her profession in Nepal. She is an Executive member of the Nepalese Society of Periodontology and Oral Implantology and has been participating actively in international conferences in the field of Dental Implants.
Honorary Secretary General: Rahul Barua
Honorary Secretary General of the South Asia Foundation-Nepal, has been involved in development activities in many parts of the region, an entrepreneur and has developed many enterprises in various parts of India. Founder Secretary General, South Asia Foundation is the only non-governmental organization who had played a crucial role in bringing the Maoist onto the negotiating table during the peace process in Nepal, facilitated many meetings among the Nepali Political Parties’ Alliance, Civil Societies and Indian Political Parties and Civil Societies that put forward the peace process during the conflict era. A visiting faculty at the Malavia center for peace research, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (a UNESCO Peace Research Center).

Member of the House of Representatives, Nepal and founder Chairman of South Asia Foundation-Nepal. He is a well known ophthalmologist who has the distinction of developing the health sector in Nepal, has been involved with the Foundation since its inception and was one of the key members of the Constituent Assembly of Nepal.
Sh. Pradeep Giri
Founder Member of the Foundation. A great political ideologue, philosopher, leader, a socialist thinker and former Member of the House of Representatives. He was also the Member of the Constituent Assembly of Nepal.

Former Secretary, a founding member, is an entrepreneur in Nepal.
